This was a nightmare of housewarming for Tottenham Hotspur as their first Premier League fixture at Wembley ended in a gut-wrenching defeat to Chelsea. The champions were the party-poopers. Two goals from Marcos Alonso, both through Spurs’ mistakes, earned Chelsea a gutsy win and will leave Spurs ruing their luck and again facing questions over some kind of Wembley curse.
